The P-51D Mustang is one of the most famous fighters of the Second World War. The D version with the cut-down rear fuselage and the bubble canopy brought an excellent view, and it was powered by the license-built Packard Merlin (V-1650); the armament consisted of six .50 caliber machine guns. Thanks to its long range it escorted the bombers deep over Germany.
Build the model in subassemblies and test the fit of the parts dry before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and bring them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a quality liquid polystyrene cement, fine files and, after the primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals onto a gloss varnish and seal them with a flat one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
