This resin, 3D-printed kit from the Polish maker Lukgraph captures the Hawker Fury biplane fighter in its Spanish form, in the large 1:24 scale. It is a complete kit in resin and 3D print meant for experienced modelers, not injection-molded plastic. The Spanish version has the matching modifications of the parts, a reworked radiator for instance, and offers several marking options.
The Hawker Fury was a British single-seat biplane fighter of the 1930s with clean aerodynamic lines and excellent flying qualities. In the versions supplied for export it served with other users as well, and machines of this type appeared on the Spanish scene during the Spanish Civil War.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and the print supports. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding resin. With a biplane in the large scales we recommend planning the sequence of struts and rigging; apply a primer before painting and work with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
