Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the 7.62 cm FK 39(r) field gun in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The model depicts the captured Soviet 76.2 mm gun that the Germans took into their own service after 1941, modified for a more powerful round and designated Feldkanone 39(r). The set is richly broken down and holds photo-etched parts and ammunition crates; check the exact contents of the package and the markings against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The subject is the Soviet 76.2 mm divisional gun of the late 1930s, of which the Germans captured large numbers. They modified the chamber for a more powerful round and added a muzzle brake in order to use the weapon as both a field and an anti-tank gun under the designation 7.62 cm FK 39(r). Thanks to its high muzzle velocity it was an effective weapon against armor as well as ground targets, deployed above all on the Eastern Front.
Cut the fine parts from the sprues and glue them with thin cement for plastic, and attach the photo-etched items with super glue. Finish and paint the carriage and breech assembly before you close up the surrounding parts. After the base coat with an airbrush, bring out the rivets and details with a wash and apply dust and mud pigments to the lower part of the carriage and to the wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
