U-boot Type IXC – crew in the galley (3 figures, 1:72) is a resin set of three figures for depicting a submarine's galley.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of three resin figures in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker CMK. This is not a submarine model but an interior accessory for a model of a Type IXC submarine. The figures capture the crew in the galley, a space that was essential for long cruises.
The galley on a Type IXC submarine was a small but operationally important part of the boat. The cook prepared food for the whole crew in a cramped space between the engines and the quarters. A scene of cooking and serving food therefore completes a cutaway diorama well and brings everyday life on board closer.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and fit the heads. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, and do any sanding with respiratory protection. A galley scene comes to life with metallic shades of the dishes and matte colors of the work clothing with restrained shading.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
