This resin, 3D-printed kit from the Polish maker Lukgraph captures the elegant British Hawker Fury biplane fighter in British service, in the large 1:24 scale. It is a complete kit in resin and 3D print meant for experienced modelers, not injection-molded plastic. The British service version has the matching modifications of the parts and offers several marking options.
The Hawker Fury was a British single-seat biplane fighter of the 1930s, valued for its clean aerodynamic lines and excellent flying qualities. Powered by a Rolls-Royce inline engine, it was among the fastest and most elegant fighters of its day and served with the Royal Air Force between the World Wars.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and the print supports. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding resin. With a biplane in the large scales we recommend planning the sequence of struts and rigging; apply a primer before painting and work with an airbrush, as gloss surfaces come out on a smooth base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
