Two printed washing machines in 1:35 scale for a diorama. A piece of equipment that gives a scene in a dwelling house, in a cellar or among rubble an everyday dimension.
Responsibility details are not available.
A military scene takes hold most where it meets ordinary life. A washing machine dragged out into a yard, left standing in a cellar or turned over among rubble says more about what happened in a place than another ammunition crate, because a viewer recognizes at once that somebody lived here. It will serve just as well in a civilian diorama, in a garage, in a laundry room or in the back of a workshop.
Two printed pieces in 1:35 scale. The pair suits one scene too: you stand one washing machine in place and the other you can damage, lay on its side or sink partly into rubble, so that the two do not repeat each other. The print holds the sharp edges of the door, of the control panel and of the feet, so the part bears close inspection.
Cut the print supports off with a sharp blade a little away from the part, sand the remainder carefully and wash and degrease the part before painting. It is bonded with super glue, as ordinary cement for plastic has no effect. Do not paint a white appliance pure white: a light gray base, a fine wash into the gaps of the door and around the control panel and a hint of rust at the bottom will give the part a used look. A gloss finish on the shell and a matte tone inside the drum will make a difference a viewer notices sooner than detail.
A base, terrain material, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
