Two refrigerators in 1:35 scale for a diorama. A tall piece of equipment that takes up an area in the interior of a scene and gives away at once that the room was lived in.

A refrigerator is one of the few pieces of equipment that are tall enough in 1:35 scale to work in an interior as a structural element. Standing against a wall it breaks up an empty surface, turned over among rubble it gives a scene direction, and in the open facade of a house a viewer will see it even from outside. It finds a use in a household, in a canteen, in a storeroom and in makeshift quarters.
Two pieces in 1:35 scale. It pays to use the pair differently: stand one refrigerator closed and leave the other ajar, propped against a wall or damaged, so that the same silhouettes are not repeated in the scene. The second piece will suit another diorama too, because equipment of this kind is not used in larger numbers in any scene.
If the parts are not polystyrene, ordinary cement for plastic will not join them; use super glue. Cut excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully. Wash and degrease them before painting. A white appliance will benefit from a light gray base instead of pure white, from a dark wash into the gap around the door and from wear on the edges and around the handle, that is where a real piece is touched most often. You will find the specific procedure for preparation in the manufacturer's instructions.
Furniture, a base, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
