A stencil in 1:35 scale for the prints of military boots with two sole patterns. The prints are applied with paint through the enclosed stencil.
Responsibility details are not available.
The prints of boots are a small thing the eye notices on a diorama at once. A path trodden to a trench or prints around a standing vehicle say more about a scene than another piece of equipment. A stencil in 1:35 scale keeps the same shape and size on all the prints, which is hard to manage freehand.
According to the name this is a stencil for applying the prints of boots with two sole patterns, a German one and a Soviet one from the period of the Second World War. How many prints each pattern carries, how large the sheet is and what the stencil is made of can be found from the manufacturer's information. Check it against the illustration on the box and the manufacturer's instructions.
First finish the terrain and its tones and let them dry. Only then lay the stencil on, press it down over its whole area and apply the paint thinly, so that it does not run under the edge. The two sole patterns are worth dividing according to who moved across the scene, but mixing them in one path makes no sense.
The stencil is intended for builders of dioramas and display-case bases in 1:35 scale with a focus on the Eastern Front and on the West alike. The work is undemanding; just try the application out as a rehearsal on a piece of cardboard. The model, figures, a base and paints are not included, unless stated otherwise.
