Three television antennas in 1:35 scale for the roofs and gables of the buildings of a diorama. A small thing that turns a set piece into a lived-in house.
Responsibility details are not available.
An antenna above a roof is a detail that gives a scene an address. As long as the roof is bare it reads as a set piece; as soon as a few thin arms appear above it, the building starts to look lived in and a viewer works out the period the scene takes place in as well. In 1:35 scale the antennas suit the roofs and gables of houses, chimneys and a wall in the background, where vehicles and figures carry the main action.
The name gives television antennas in 1:35 scale in a count of three pieces. The material, the dimensions and the way the parts are separated do not follow from the name; you will find them on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions, and choose the glue according to the material. This is a separate accessory for a scene; a building and a base do not belong with it.
Set the antennas so that the arms in one street point in a similar direction, or every house will look as if it came from a different town. Before painting, wash the parts and degrease them, as paint holds badly on thin arms and a fingerprint shows through a coat. Apply the paint weakly, as a thick coat thickens the arms and the scale falls apart.
The set is aimed at builders of city dioramas and display-case scenes in 1:35 scale whose roofs lack life. Even a beginner will manage the fitting; it just takes working with a steady hand. The model, a building, a base, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
