Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unpainted figures of elite units of the Prussian army of the 1806 campaign in 1:72 scale. It adds to the line infantry the bodies with different equipment and standing that give a force its variety. The figures in this range are in soft plastic, on which ordinary polystyrene cement and paint do not hold without preparation. That is not a flaw but a property of the material, and it is enough to allow for it beforehand.
Besides its line regiments the Prussian army of 1806 also had units with their own traditions and distinct equipment. They kept to the customs of the time of Frederick the Great, including the conspicuous details of uniform by which they could be told apart on the battlefield. The whole army, though, went to war with outdated tactics and at Jena and Auerstedt suffered a crushing defeat, after which a deep reform followed.
First wash the figures in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry out completely. Then apply a primer intended for soft plastics, or the paint will crack once dry. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). With elite units it pays to spend time on the details of the uniform; it is precisely those that set them apart from the line infantry and make them recognizable on the table.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
