Responsibility details are not available.
A set of forty unpainted figures of Hungarian infantry of the Austrian army of the Napoleonic Wars in 1:72 scale, in action poses: firing, loading and advancing. The Hungarian regiments were part of the Austrian army but had their own form of uniform, so they stand clearly apart from the German regiments of the same army. The figures are in soft plastic, on which ordinary polystyrene cement and paint do not hold without preparation.
The Austrian army was divided into German and Hungarian regiments and the difference was visible at a glance. Hungarian foot soldiers wore close-fitting blue trousers with braid, while the German regiments had white trousers of a looser cut. The white coat was common to both. Austrian infantry fought mainly in line and its quality improved markedly over the course of the wars, until in 1809 it was able to face Napoleon as an equal opponent.
First wash the figures in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry out completely. Then apply a primer intended for soft plastics. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Do not build the white coat out of pure white: start with a light gray and use white only on the highest points. Pick out the braid on the trousers with a fine brush at the very end.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
