Responsibility details are not available.
A small plastic kit of the American M3 Lee medium tank in 1:100 scale from Zvezda. It is a snap-fit model for tabletop wargames; the parts fit into one another and the basic shape goes together even without glue. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and for the exact contents follow the instructions supplied with it.
The M3 Lee was an American medium tank of the early Second World War with an unusual arrangement of its armament: the main 75 mm gun sat in a sponson on the side of the hull, while the smaller 37 mm gun sat in a rotating turret. The tank was built in 1941 and 1942 and was also delivered in large numbers to the British and Soviet armies under the Lend-Lease program. Despite its tall silhouette it played an important transitional role before the M4 Sherman replaced it.
Reinforce the snap-fit joints with a drop of liquid cement for plastic. Because of the small scale, deburr the moldings carefully and sand down the parting lines. Spray the base coat over a primer; depending on the service choose olive drab for the American vehicles, British desert sand or Soviet green. A dark wash in the corners and a fine dry brush will pick out the riveted construction, and dust pigments on the running gear will add a patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
