This is a supplementary set of photo-etched parts in 1:12 scale, not a standalone motorcycle model. The set is meant for completing and refining the matching plastic kit of the Yamaha TZR250 (3MA) in the late form of 1990. It replaces or supplements selected plastic parts with thin metal elements for a higher level of detail.
Photo-etched parts add fine sections that cannot be rendered faithfully by injection molding in plastic, for example thin mesh, clips, brackets and other small metal details. The result is a more realistic and better worked-up model. The basic kit is not included in the package.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and form the bends with a photo-etch bender or a ruler. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), using tiny drops if necessary. Before painting, degrease the metal and treat it with a primer for metal, so that the paint holds well.
This is a supplementary detail set, not a complete model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
