An injection-molded plastic kit of the iconic little Fiat 500 F in the large 1:12 scale from Italeri. It is a reworked release with revised tooling and new parts. Besides the plastic parts, the package contains metal and photo-etched components, chrome-plated parts, rubber tires and decals. The assembled model measures around 25 cm and offers a rich level of detail to match the large scale.
The Fiat 500 F was built from the middle of the 1960s and became the most numerous version of the legendary city Cinquecento. Its hallmarks are the doors hinged on the front pillar and both technical and visual improvements over the earlier versions. Small, economical and unmistakable, the little car became a symbol of post-war Italian mobility and remains one of the best-loved automotive classics to this day.
The large scale lets the details show: the opening hood and trunk lid, the opening doors, working suspension and steering. Use liquid cement for plastic and bond the photo-etch and metal parts with super glue. Smooth the body, apply a primer and spray the gloss color with an airbrush. Finish and paint the interior and the engine compartment before closing the body up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
