An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary fighter from the Star Wars universe in 1:121 scale. The subject is the TIE Advanced prototype, which in the story was flown by Darth Vader himself. The model has finely engraved surfaces, a detailed cockpit and the characteristic bent solar wings; the package also contains decals and multilingual instructions.
The TIE Advanced differs from ordinary TIE fighters in its bent solar panels, its lengthened rear section and its heavier armament. In the film story it is the personal machine of Darth Vader, one of the most recognizable craft of the whole saga. The model will therefore please not only modelers but Star Wars fans as well.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, fill the seams and sand them down. Apply a primer before painting; the hull and the wings look their best in dark gray shades with the panels gently picked out. The small number of parts makes the model a pleasant and quick build even for the less experienced.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
