An injection-molded kit of the modern airliner Boeing 737-800 in 1:144 scale from Zvezda. The model is licensed, offers rich detail and build options (for example different types of winglets and forms of the cockpit) and comes with a stand and a decal sheet. The assembled model is impressively long and is a rewarding piece for a display case.
The Boeing 737-800 belongs to the 737 Next Generation family and is one of the most widespread narrow-body airliners in the world. This twin-engine jet serves on short and medium routes and is operated by dozens of airlines all over the world. A characteristic feature of the newer machines are the wingtip winglets that raise efficiency.
The fuselage of an airliner calls for careful finishing of the joints and a smooth, usually glossy surface. Use liquid cement for plastic, prime the surface and apply the white with an airbrush in thin coats. Apply a gloss coat before the decals and a matte or semi-gloss one after them, according to the real aircraft. Mask the windows and the cockpit and place the model on the supplied stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
