The resin de Havilland Venom NF.3 Conversion Set in 1:144 scale makes it possible to rework a model of the naval Sea Venom night fighter into the land-based Venom NF.3 version. The set is from the Czech manufacturer Mark I and holds resin conversion parts, a vacuum-formed canopy and a small decal sheet with schemes. Intended for de Havilland Sea Venom models in 1:144 scale.
The conversion changes the characteristic parts of the airframe (for example the upper rear fuselage and the wingtip tanks) so that they match the Venom NF.3 variant. It is a conversion accessory to a base model, not a complete kit in its own right.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Cut the vacuum-formed canopy out with a margin and sand it to fit. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
