An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle strike fighter in the small 1:144 scale from Revell. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Besides the aircraft itself, the package contains a set of external stores, that is guided bombs and short-range air-to-air missiles together with drop tanks.
The F-15E Strike Eagle is an American two-seat multirole fighter derived from the famous F-15 air superiority fighter. Unlike the original version it is optimized for precision strikes against ground targets in any weather as well as for air combat. The crew consists of a pilot and a weapon systems officer; the aircraft carries a wide range of guided and unguided munitions and remains in active service with the US Air Force to this day.
The small 1:144 scale means small parts, so work with a sharp knife and liquid cement. Fill and sand the fuselage seams gently, so that the engraved panel lines are not lost. For the dark gray schemes typical of the Strike Eagle use a primer and an airbrush; paint the external stores separately and fit them at the very end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
