The Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar was an American military transport aircraft intended to carry cargo, troops and paratroops. Characteristic were the two tail booms running back from the engine nacelles and the capacious fuselage with a cargo hold accessible from the rear. It was powered by two radial engines. The machine was used for airborne operations and resupply and served the US Air Force and other users through the postwar decades.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic; in the small 1:144 scale, take care over clean work on the small parts and the fine antennas. Glue the cockpit glazing with cement for canopies. Paint the interior and the landing gear bays before closing up. After the gloss coat and the decals, bring out the panel lines with a fine wash and add restrained wear in keeping with transport service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
