Valom 1:144 Focke-Wulf Fw 189A-1 (Eastern Front) is a plastic kit of the German reconnaissance aircraft in the version with decals for machines from the Eastern Front.
Responsibility details are not available.
This release of the kit in 1:144 scale from the Czech company Valom represents the German twin-boom Focke-Wulf Fw 189A-1 reconnaissance aircraft with decal schemes for machines used on the Eastern Front. The model is injection-molded from plastic; the package differs from the base version above all in the markings offered. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 189, nicknamed the Uhu, was typical for its glazed nacelle and two tail booms. On the Eastern Front it served for close reconnaissance and artillery observation, where it made use of its good visibility and respectable agility. The machines there carried various camouflage schemes including winter finishes.
The small parts and the glazing of the nacelle call for careful work; masks for the glazing will help. Apply primer and paint with an airbrush, apply the Eastern Front decals over gloss varnish and fix them with a matte coat. Winter camouflage can be brought out with fine wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
