Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:144 scale captures the KF-5E Tiger II light supersonic fighter in the service of the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF). The package consists of a manageable number of parts on the sprues, completed with clear cockpit parts and a decal sheet with two marking options. The small scale makes the model a rewarding project for an evening or two and a fine addition to a collection or a display case.
The KF-5E is the Korean license-built counterpart of the American Northrop F-5E Tiger II. It was produced from the second half of the 1970s to strengthen the defensive capability of the Republic of Korea Air Force. It is a single-seat light fighter and fighter-bomber with a pair of jet engines, which stood out for its good agility, simple maintenance and low running costs.
Cut the parts from the sprues with a sharp knife and glue the joints with thin plastic cement. Because of the small scale, a primer before painting, thin coats of paint and an airbrush are recommended; the fine panel lines stand out after being picked out lightly with a wash. Glue the clear cockpit parts on last with cyanoacrylate glue or a canopy glue so that they do not fog.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
