1:16 Road Signs - From D-Day, Ardennes, Battle Of The Bulge - Bastogne (Metal) (4 Sheets)

Road signs D-Day, the Ardennes, Bastogne 1:16, 4 sheets (ETA diorama)

A set of four printed sheets brings period road and information signs tied to the fighting on the Western Front of the Second World War, above all to the Normandy landings and the Ardennes offensive around Bastogne. These are not cast parts but good-quality digital printing on paper that faithfully imitates sheet metal signs in 1:16 scale.

What it is for

You cut the signs out, back them and mount them on posts in the scene. Thanks to the specific place names they give a diorama of the Western Front a clear narrative context and atmosphere.

Usage tips

• Cut with a sharp knife along the edges and bend the corners slightly for the impression of sheet metal.
• Back them with card or thin sheet metal for stiffness.
• A matte varnish will protect the print and suppress the sheen of the paper.
• Add rust and dirt with pigments only once it is sealed.

Who it is for

• Builders of dioramas of the Western Front of 1944 and 1945.
• Modelers in the large 1:16 scale with an emphasis on scenic detail.
• Collectors of figures and vehicles connected with Normandy and the Ardennes.

The accessory is printed on paper and is supplied as scenic material for further work. Glue, paints and a backing are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
