About product

Ferrari F92A - Option decal set 1:20 (Tabu design)

A supplementary waterslide decal set (not a model) from the Japanese maker Tabu design for building a model of the Formula 1 car Ferrari F92A in 1:20 scale. The option set extends and refines the sponsor logos and technical markings beyond the basic kit.

The real subject

The Ferrari F92A was the Formula 1 single-seater of the 1992 season, with an unconventional two-tier aerodynamic arrangement of the underbody. Jean Alesi and Ivan Capelli took turns at the wheel.

Use

  • The decals float off in lukewarm water and go onto a painted, smooth surface.
  • We recommend a gloss base and a decal softener so that they settle onto the shaped surfaces of the body.
  • Seal them with a top clear coat.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers building a Formula 1 single-seater in 1:20 scale.
  • Fans of classic Ferrari cars and of precise period markings.

This is a decal set, not a kit. The model itself, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
