An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary Shelby Cobra 427 roadster in 1:24 scale from Revell. The model captures the characteristic rounded shapes of the body faithfully and offers a detailed V8 engine, a carefully worked chassis, chrome-plated elements and decals. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Shelby Cobra 427 came about by joining a light British AC Ace body with a massive American V8 engine. The 427 version was given a seven-liter eight-cylinder of high output, thanks to which it was among the fastest sports cars of its day. Behind the project stood the racing driver and designer Carroll Shelby, and the Cobra became one of the icons of American automotive history of the 1960s.
We recommend spraying the body with an airbrush and overcoating it with gloss clear varnish for the deep shine typical of a sports car. Cut the chrome-plated parts off carefully, so that the plating is not damaged. Bring out the engine and the interior with shades and a fine wash. Apply the decals onto a gloss base, so that no silvering appears.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
