The R8 LMS is a customer circuit racer built on the basis of the road Audi R8. It is driven by a naturally aspirated ten-cylinder engine placed ahead of the rear axle, joined to a sequential gearbox; unlike the turbocharged competition its character rests on a linear rise of power and on high revolutions. The evo II version is a later stage of development of this generation and brought changes in the area of cooling, aerodynamics and the handling of the car in racing service. The car is a fixture of endurance events and sprint series all over the world.
It is advisable to spray the body on a perfectly prepared and degreased surface, because glossy racing finishes reveal every irregularity. Before the decals a coat of gloss helps, and after them a unifying overcoat. Prepare the roll cage, the seat and the belts before you close the body, and do not forget the polishing of the clear parts, which with racing cars completes the impression markedly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; prepare your own equipment and paints for the build according to the procedure chosen.
