A set of 3D printed (resin) replacement wheels for the large kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-5/G-6 fighter in 1:24 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the base kit. The set contains the main wheels and the tail wheel and is intended for a Bf 109G kit in this scale. The set is intended for the Airfix kit.
In large scales the wheels are a prominent visible feature. 3D printing offers a sharply rendered tire tread and fine details of the hub that injection-molded plastic cannot manage. Optionally the tire is rendered with a realistic flattening at the point where it rests on the ground.
For experienced modelers who are building the Bf 109G-5/G-6 in 1:24 scale and want a higher level of detail on the landing gear.
This is a standalone detail accessory, not a complete model. The base Airfix kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
