An injection-molded plastic kit of the racing car BMW M6 GT3 in the winning configuration of the 2016 twenty-four hour race at Spa, in 1:24 scale from Platz. The model faithfully captures the GT3 class car with its aerodynamic package and racing interior. According to the manufacturer the box offers several sprues of parts, rubber tires and two decal sheets for the period sponsor livery of the winning machines.
The BMW M6 GT3 was developed for GT3 class circuit racing and was powered by a 4.4 liter V8. The car number 99 of the Rowe Racing team, driven by Sims, Eng and Martin, won the prestigious twenty-four hour race at Spa-Francorchamps in 2016. GT3 racing is among the most watched circuit series and its colorful liveries make it a rewarding subject for modelers.
Use liquid cement for plastic and divide the build into the body, the interior with its cage and the chassis. Finish and paint the cockpit before you close up the body. Apply a primer before painting and apply the colors with an airbrush; the extensive sponsor livery is made of decals, which should be applied to a glossy painted base and finally unified with a clear coat. For a clean result, work on the livery patiently, piece by piece.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
