A plastic kit of the BMW Z4 M40i sports roadster in 1:24 scale from the maker Meng. It is an officially licensed model which, besides the injection-molded plastic parts, contains painting masks, photo-etched parts, rubber tires, fabric seat belts and water-slide decals. The model faithfully captures the dynamic shapes of the car including the characteristic kidney grille and the folding roof, which can be built either raised or stowed.
The BMW Z4 M40i is a two-seat roadster with a front inline six-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive. The top M Performance version offers a sharper chassis, a powerful turbocharged engine and the sporting character of an open car.
We recommend spraying the body with an airbrush onto a smooth base and polishing it, so that the gloss of the finish comes out. The painting masks make a clean separation of the colors easier, and the photo-etched parts should be glued with cyanoacrylate. Decide in advance whether you will build the roof raised or stowed. The interior is brought to life by the fabric seat belts and the fine instrument decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
