An accessory set of alloy wheels and tires in 1:24 scale; it is not a car kit. The package contains four rims in the Equip style in the 14 inch short-rim version, thin stretched tires to go with them and a sheet of decals. The set serves to swap the production wheels on car models and for retro or JDM style modifications.
Equip rims with a short lip are among the popular classic Japanese wheels. The version with thin pull-tire tires gives a model a lowered, stretched look. The wheels are mounted on the hubs of the model, usually through plastic mounts; on some kits it is advisable to adjust the fit slightly.
For a realistic look it pays to accentuate the detail of the rim and touch up the centers with a brush. Degrease the mating surfaces before gluing. Fit the thin tires carefully so that they are not deformed. Check the spacing and the diameter against the hubs of your particular model, so that the wheels seat correctly.
This is an accessory set of wheels and tires, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
