Wheels change the look of a car model more than any other single part. Swapping the original wheels for a different version is therefore the quickest way to turn a box-stock kit into a car in a particular specification without touching the body. This set offers wheels in the version the manufacturer designates Techno TRV.
The figure of fourteen inches is the rim diameter on the real car. In 1:24 scale that works out at a diameter of roughly fifteen millimeters, so the set belongs with models of ordinary passenger cars rather than racing specials on large wheels. Before you order, check how the axle stubs are arranged on your model, because the mounting differs from kit to kit.
Wash and degrease the parts before painting; metallic shades spray badly onto a greasy surface and the coat flakes off later. Silver and chrome paints need a smooth base, and every sanding scratch is accentuated under them. Keep to the order: primer first, then the rim shade and only then the details. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts, which is given in the manufacturer's instructions. Before you fit a wheel permanently, try it on the axle dry and look at the model from the front and from the back: all four wheels sitting symmetrically shows on a finished car more than any engine detail.
