It is an extensive and demanding kit meant for experienced modelers. The box contains chrome-plated sprues, rubber tires and a rich decal sheet with a choice of two color schemes. The Freightliner FLD 120 Special is a classic American conventional tractor unit meant for long-distance haulage. It stands out for its massive hood, its chrome trim and its spacious cab with a sleeper. Trucks of this type are among the icons of the American highway.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and plan the order of painting in advance. Spray the bodywork with an airbrush over a base coat and cover it with a gloss coat so that the chrome and the paintwork come into their own. Glue the chrome-plated parts with a cement that does not fog. Apply the decals over a smooth gloss surface and seal them with a matte or a gloss coat, depending on the scheme.
