An injection-molded plastic car kit from the Japanese maker Hasegawa in 1:24 scale. It captures the early version of the Isuzu Bellett 1600GTR sports coupe in the Custom Version form. The package holds chrome-plated parts (the grille, the bumpers, the mirrors and the rims, for instance) and decals; this is one particular form of the kit and the contents may differ from the basic release.
The Isuzu Bellett was a Japanese lower-middle-class car built from the 1960s. The sporting top version, the 1600GTR with twin camshafts in the cylinder head, was among the sportingly tuned machines of its time and is valued among collectors of classic Japanese cars. The early version matches the form of the end of the 1960s.
On car models take care over a smooth and glossy finish on the body – sanding between coats and a final clear coat pay off. Glue the chrome-plated parts carefully (chrome will not take ordinary cement for plastic) and apply the decals over a gloss base. Finish the interior and the chassis before you close the body up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
