Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit captures the American Jeep J-10 pickup of 1979 in the version with a camper top on the bed and the colorful 10-4 Good Buddy graphics, which refer to the CB radio era of the 1970s. The parts are molded in white and clear, and soft black tires and sheets of decals for period-faithful graphics are included. The model builds into the look of an off-road road cruiser with a range of optional fittings.
The Jeep J-10 followed on from the rugged Gladiator pickups of the early 1960s. In the version from the end of the 1970s the vehicle was powered by a 360 cubic inch V8 and Quadra-Trac all-wheel drive. The 10-4 package with its striking graphics was among the memorable options of the day and is inseparably linked with American highway and trucker culture.
Use thin cement for plastic and glue the parts together after cleaning them up. We recommend spraying the body with filler primer first, painting it best of all with an airbrush and evening the glossy areas out with varnish. Glue the chrome and clear parts only after painting, and apply the decals onto a smooth glossy surface. Finish the chassis and the interior before the body is closed up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
