The 1:24 scale is the most widespread for car models, so the finished car will fit into most collections.
The Miura was built by the Italian marque between 1966 and 1973 and is among the icons of the sports cars of its day. Its most striking design feature is the V12 mounted transversely behind the cabin, which allowed a low and flat body. The version designated Jota came about as a lightened, racing-oriented form; the model manufacturer states an output of around 440 horsepower for it. The body differs from the production form in a number of details.
On a car model the paintwork decides everything. First clean the body carefully of parting seams, unify it with primer and spray the base in thin coats with an airbrush; only then comes the gloss coat. Once it has dried it pays to polish the surface with a fine abrasive paste - it is precisely the depth of the gloss that makes the difference between an average and a handsome model. Leave the chrome parts in their original finish and handle them only with dry tweezers, as fingerprints show on them. Paint the interior and the engine bay separately and dry-fit to check that the body seats properly. Apply the decals over a gloss surface and seal them with varnish at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
