A limited injection-molded kit of the road version of the legendary Lancia from the Japanese brand Hasegawa. It captures the final, collector edition of the Integrale Evoluzione, which Lancia released as a farewell to one of the most successful cars in rally history. The model faithfully carries over the characteristic features of that version: the pronounced fenders, the hood with side vents for better engine cooling and the rally wheels.
The Lancia Delta HF Integrale won six consecutive manufacturers' world championship titles between 1987 and 1992 and became one of the most famous icons of Group A. The Evoluzione was the peak of its development, with all-wheel drive, a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and massively widened fenders. The Edizione finale was the last, celebratory series of the road-going Evoluzione: it offered, among other things, a deep dark burgundy finish, dark wheels, carbon fiber trim and Recaro sports seats. The car symbolically closed a whole era of one of the most successful rally cars.
The deep dark red shade stands out after airbrushing and a gloss coat, and with dark finishes a good primer and patient polishing pay off. Take care over a clean fit of the body and the widened fenders and over the fine details of the interior (the Alcantara seats, the dashboard, the roll cage). The wheels and the chrome and polished elements will bring the model up to collector quality.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
