A set of 3D printed resin chocks for under the wheels of aircraft in 1:24 scale, in the Post War version. The package holds two pieces. It is not a model of an aircraft but an airfield accessory which brings a parking apron or a diorama scene to life.
Wheel chocks are placed under the wheels of the landing gear and stop a parked aircraft from moving. On a model and in a diorama alike they work as a faithful detail of airfield operations and give the scene scale and life.
Cut the printed parts off the print supports carefully, wash the uncured resin residue off and clean them up with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend a primer and then acrylic or enamel paints; a wash and pigments will add the wear and the dust of a parking apron.
The accessory is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted printed resin part. The base model, glue, paints and further accessories are not included in the package.
