1:24 Messerschmitt Bf 109G Masking Set Airfix

Airfix mask set 1:24 Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-5/G-6

A self-adhesive Airfix masking set intended for the large model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-5/G-6 fighter in 1:24 scale. These are pre-cut masks for the clear parts, not decals and not a model. They serve to cover the cockpit and the other transparent areas quickly and cleanly while spraying paint.

Use

• Covering the cockpit glazing for both the closed and the open canopy option.
• Masks for the inner and the outer side of the glazing, for crisp frames.
• Masks for the tailwheel tire and for the armored glass.
• The cut follows the CAD data of the base model for an exact fit.

Usage tips

Apply the masks to clean, degreased and dry glazing and press the edges down carefully so that no paint runs under them. Spray thin coats and peel the mask off carefully at a sharp angle once the paint has dried.

Who the set is for

• Builders of the large 1:24 Bf 109 G who want crisp framing of the glazing.
• Modelers who do not want to mask the glazing by hand with tape.

This is a painting accessory; the paints and the model are not included in the package.
