The Renault 5 Turbo was a rally special derived from a small city car, of which little was left, though: the engine moved to the middle, behind the seats, the body received markedly widened fenders and the drive stayed on the rear axle. What came of it was a car that behaved completely differently from its basis and that made its mark in rallying mainly on tarmac. For a modeler it is one of the most rewarding shapes of the eighties.
Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat; on a matte surface a silvery veil will appear under them. Cut the sheet close to the motif so that no visible border is left along the edge. Dip a decal in water for only a few seconds and let it release on the backing paper; do not pull it with tweezers. Lay large areas of markings from the center toward the edges and squeeze the water out with a soft cloth. On edges and recessed detail use decal softener and press the film down with a cotton swab. Once dry, give the model a clear coat so that the edges blend into the surface.
The decals are supplied on their own; the model and paints are not part of the package.
