It is a demanding truck kit with rich detail on the cab, the chassis and the engine, complemented by decals and chrome-plated parts. The exact contents of the box are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The Scania R-series Streamline is the Swedish brand's range of heavy tractor units, with the emphasis on economy, driver comfort and reliability. The Flat Roof version with a lower cab roof is used where the full height of the living space is not needed, for example with semi-trailers that have a body of their own. The R-series models are among the popular subjects of truck builders.
Treat the cab with a gloss varnish, which will underline both the color of the paint and the chrome fittings. Bring out the frame, the tanks and the chassis with a dark wash, and paint the engine and the details separately. Glue the chrome parts carefully with a glue that does not fog the surface, ideally cyanoacrylate applied in a small amount.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
