The set contains four miniature distributors printed in hard resin by 3D printing. It is intended for detailing the engine of car models in 1:24 scale, particularly eight-cylinder units. This is not a car kit but an accessory for completing the engine bay.
The distributor is a prominent part of the engine that basic kits often simplify. On eight-cylinder engines, typically a V8, the distributor and the wiring are well in view, so a convincing part noticeably lifts the impression the finished model makes. The leads to the spark plugs are something the modeler adds separately.
Separate the parts from the print supports and wash off any resin residue. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); wear respiratory protection while sanding. Metallic shades and black will separate the body of the distributor from the cap nicely.
Supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin detail set. Glue, paints and wiring are not included in the package.
