An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary two-door Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R hardtop in 1:24 scale. The package contains the body, a detailed engine and interior compartment, clear parts for the glazing and a decal sheet; it is a classic car model to be assembled and painted. The 1:24 scale is among the most popular with car collectors and leaves room for fine detail work.
The C10-generation Skyline GT-R, nicknamed Hakosuka, became an icon of Japanese motorsport at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. The two-door HT (hardtop) version with its inline six-cylinder engine and tuned suspension collected victories on home circuits and founded the famous tradition of the GT-R designation. The angular lines, the four round headlights and the aggressively flared fenders are among the unmistakable marks of this legend.
Once the seams are smoothed, spray the body with primer and color, ideally with an airbrush, and go over it with a gloss clear coat for real depth of shine. Fit the chrome parts and the glazing only after painting, and glue the glazing with cement for clear parts. The interior and the engine deserve to be brought out with careful shades and light weathering. Apply the decals over a gloss base so that the carrier film is invisible.
