An accessory set of resin Speedline wheels in a size of 18 inches complemented by Michelin tires. It serves to replace the kit wheels on models of the Toyota Corolla WRC in 1:24 scale and raises their detail to a collector level. The maker is Mf zone.

The real subject

The Toyota Corolla WRC fought in the World Rally Championship in the late 1990s. On tarmac events it ran on Speedline wheels shod with Michelin casings, which this set reproduces.

Use and tips

Wash the mold release agent off the parts and clean up the casting blocks.
Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
Paint the rims and the tires separately, the rims once primed.
Check the diameter and the seating against the hubs of the particular model.
