This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese maker Tamiya captures the works rally car Subaru Impreza WRC in the form run by the factory team at the Monte Carlo Rally. The model faithfully conveys the widened body, the aerodynamic features and the well worked-out interior with its roll cage. Rubber tires, detailed wheel suspension and decals for the works Subaru World Rally Team cars are included.
The Subaru Impreza WRC was among the most successful and most popular cars of the World Rally Championship. It was powered by a turbocharged flat-four (boxer) engine with all-wheel drive - the combination typical of Subaru, which gave the car excellent traction on slippery surfaces and its characteristic sound. The works team in blue colors collected wins and titles with the Impreza and built up a wide following.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Build the blue base of the body over a primer and paint it with an airbrush in thin coats, finish it with a clear coat and polish it. Apply the sponsor liveries and competition numbers to a perfectly glossy base and fix them with varnish. Finish the interior with its roll cage, the glazing and the lights before you close the body up. Fit the chrome and clear parts last and glue them with cement for clear parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
