This injection-molded plastic kit captures the top Tourer V version of the Toyota Mark II sedan of the X100 generation. The set contains a multi-part body, interior and chassis and is supplied unpainted. The package usually brings cast wheels, masking templates for the window frames and chrome details for a faithful appearance.
The X100 series Mark II was introduced in 1996 as a comfortable rear-wheel-drive mid-size sedan. The top Tourer V version was fitted with the turbocharged 1JZ-GTE inline six, which made it a favorite basis for tuning and drift work. The sedan gained cult status thanks to its robust chassis and powerful engine.
Sand the body down, treat it with filler and finish it with gloss varnish. Glue with thin cement for plastic, fill the joints and fit the chrome and glazed parts only at the end. The low chassis and the aero parts come out well with careful seating.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
