This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese brand Hasegawa captures the late form of the Toyota Sprinter Trueno of the AE92 generation in the GT-Z version of 1989. The package offers an optional roof panel (a moonroof), a choice of aluminum as well as ordinary wheels and pop-up headlights that can be built either open or closed. The headlight and wheel parts are chrome plated; masking stickers for the windows are enclosed.
The Sprinter Trueno AE92 GT-Z was the top of the range, with the sharp design of the end of the 1980s. In the GT-Z version it was powered by a supercharged sixteen-valve four, which turned a light coupe into a brisk sports car.
Decide in advance whether you will build the headlights open or closed. Spray the body with primer and apply the paint with an airbrush; leave the chrome-plated wheels and lights unpainted. Use the masking stickers when painting the window frames.
