An injection-molded plastic kit of the racing Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR32) in Group A specification, in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa. The model carries the BP Oil Trampio livery and captures a car from the Japanese touring car championship of the first half of the 1990s. According to the manufacturer the box contains masking templates, rubber tires and sponsor decals.
The R32 generation Skyline GT-R (BNR32) was powered by the RB26DETT inline six-cylinder engine with twin turbochargers, combined with ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive and HICAS rear-wheel steering. That combination made it such an unbeatable Group A car that journalists gave it the nickname Godzilla. In the Japanese circuit touring car championship it collected wins for a run of years and became a legend of the domestic racing scene. The version with the BP Oil Trampio graphics was among the factory-supported cars of that championship.
Spray the body with an airbrush and prepare the individual color fields of the livery with the enclosed masking templates, which make it easier to separate the shades accurately. Apply the sponsor decals onto a gloss coat and then varnish over them for a smooth, seamless surface. Finish and paint the RB26 engine and the interior with its roll cage before closing the body. Fit the rubber tires and the racing wheels at the very end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
