It covers the classic Volkswagen Beetle in the Fire Patrol service form – a fire patrol car completed with a beacon and accessories. The package contains plastic parts, decals and assembly instructions; the model is built and painted.
The Volkswagen Type 1, known popularly as the Beetle, is among the most widespread and longest-produced cars in history. Its simple, timeless silhouette with an air-cooled engine at the rear made it an icon; in service and patrol colors it is especially attractive to a collector.
Glue the plastic parts with liquid cement for plastic. Treat the body with primer, apply the paint with an airbrush and seal the gloss with a clear varnish. On a service version, take care to apply the striking decals and the beacon cleanly – settle them over a gloss surface with a decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
