Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese maker Hasegawa. It combines a model of the classic Volkswagen Beetle (Type 1) of 1966 with a figure of the girl Rio Asaka in the same scale. The model is built and painted; glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
The Volkswagen Beetle (Type 1) is one of the best known cars in history, powered by an air-cooled four-cylinder engine mounted at the rear. The mid-1960s form is one of the prized classics, with its characteristic rounded body. The figure supplied adds to the richness of the model and suits an eye-catching display.
Treat the body with primer and paint it with an airbrush in thin coats; clear coat will support the gloss. Glue the chrome and clear parts with a glue that leaves no fogging. Paint the figure separately; the skin and the clothing come alive with subtle shading and a dry brush to bring out the details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
