This is a set of Window Paint masking templates in 1:24 scale from the Czech maker Mf zone. It serves for clean painting of the black window surrounds and trims (an imitation of the rubber seal and of the edge of the glass) on a model of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. It is not a kit or decals - it is an aid for masking while the glazing is painted. The set is intended for the Tamiya kit, which has to be obtained separately.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is a legendary Japanese four-wheel-drive competition car with a forced-induction engine which took a string of wins and titles in the world rally championship. The sharp edges of the body and the pronounced aerodynamic items make it a popular subject for modelers.
Stick the masks onto the clear window part, spray the recommended paint (usually a semi-matte black) on in thin coats and lift the mask off once it has dried. A precisely seated mask ensures a crisp, even edge with no paint creeping under it.
