Airscale Luftwaffe cockpit placards and dataplates 1:24 is a set of color decals of warning placards and manufacturer's dataplates of German WWII aircraft.

This product is not an airplane model but an extensive set of decals in 1:24 scale from the British firm Airscale. The sheet holds a large number of color placards, labels and dataplates of the kind found in the cockpits of Luftwaffe aircraft of the 1930s and 1940s. The individual placards are separate on the sheet and with a minimum of carrier film.
The set holds the manufacturer's plates of the leading German aircraft firms (Junkers, Messerschmitt, Focke-Wulf, Henschel) as well as the plates of makers of cockpit equipment (for example Bosch, Lorenz, Askania). The placards suit instrument panels, the side walls of a cockpit, radio sets, throttle and flap quadrants and oxygen bottles and gas cylinders. They add a layer of authentic detail to a model which markedly raises the fidelity of a cockpit.
Small placards are applied onto gloss varnish with a softener so that they settle into the detail of the surface. Given the size of the individual decals, tweezers and patience are called for. The set usually holds illustrated instructions with the placement.
This is an accessory (decals of placards and plates), not a kit. The airplane model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
